Eggnog Latte, Grande Starbucks Cups and NY booking details!

Best Sunday EVER!
Michelle and I went into town yesterday to talk to someone who at the Virgin Atlantic/ Holiday store, To get some help with our New York trip and planning, After a search, some free coffee and a general natter, We ended up booking !! (there was only one room left in the hotel we decided on, for the date we wanted!) SO excited! We will be going on 24th Feb til 1st March. A lot of list making and planning will be going on in the next couple of months. If anyone's from New York and has some 'must dos' that we need to check out or any cool little bars, diners, museums etc, If you could let me know I would reeeeeally appreciate it!

It also dawned on me yesterday, that I will be able to go visit my Sketchbook for The Sketchbook Project in the Brooklyn Library! I really need to get a crack on with that i've only done about 6 pages because I've been doing so many other illustrations but now that's even more of a driving force to get the hell on with it, has to be back in America by January!

To further the best Sunday ever, We finally had an eggnog latte as well after many failed attempts. It taste so wintry and just like Christmas.  All the Christmas adverts on TV are making me feel dead festive (Anyone see the coco-cola holidays are coming advert last night?! ah memories!) I may be 21 but I will still be rocking out the ole advent calendar this year... Who would willingly pass up on chocolate? silly!

Hubby & I have been several time to NY & love it. I'd def recommend going on the Circle Line 3 hour boat trip which takes you around the whole of Manhattan; also lunch at Serendipity's - the frozen hot chocolate is worth any wait; also I know Magnolia is popular (& great) but I love Billy's Bakery more. Have a fab trip. x
