super furry animal

Literally my most favourite purchase of this Autumn (apart from the onesie...) is my faux fur stole from H&M, I know they're as common now as the ominous 'litas' or 'allegras' in the blogging world but I couldn't care less, it's so versatile and adaptable, I've been wearing with my black coat regularly, jumpers and dresses. It's so much warmer then a regular scarf and keeps me feeling super cosy and that kind of grandeur, elegant, glamorous older ladies of New York that you spot shopping in Manhattan with bags upon bags of designer goods. Have you purchased anything recently which has become a staple in your wardrobe?

Today:
- Finishing and starting 4 christmas present illustrations
- Making a commissioned blog header.
- Creating scenes to photograph my jewellery against
- Necklace designing and making.
- Burning my fingers :(
- Drinking too much coffee

Really rubbish outfit photos but I thought it may get me back into the swing of doing outfit posts. These were just taking on my simple nikon so when I can get my sister to take using her digital slr lumix camera we should be in business! Not an outfit of the day but one that I wore a couple of weeks ago when it was still dead mild and was way to hot wearing a coat. I love tartan scarfs, my adoration started for them last year, I have this green one, two red tartan scarfs and recently just bought a yellow rupert bear style one which I love!

It was my last day at work yesterday, so glad to be out of that place and have time to focus on everything that I want to but I will miss all my friends there. Tonight I'm going out for christmas drinks/ leaving drinks with them all and I'm trying to decide whether to go vampy (red, dark lips, smudgy simple eye makeup) or 60s bardot make-up (pale pink lips with smokey, feline flick eyes) Give me your 2 cents! Now I just need to get ready to go to a christmas craft fair which is just down the road. What are you all up to this weekend?

I had a really lovely birthday and you can expect a photo heavy post of sharing haha. Bur this is just some snippets of what I wore... eating breakfast in my onesie whilst drinking bucks fizz, My sparkly red nails being showcased whilst trying to detain kurt the hamster, My eyes which seemed even bigger then usual, accessorise headband tied in a bow, pearl and hot air balloon necklace and cobalt blue misguided lace dress.

Heritage contrast coat - ASOS
Dress - ASOS
Scarf - Tiger
Necklaces - DIY
Loafers - Dolci vita

This is an outfit I wore the other day, snapped quickly on photo booth hence the fail whale quality but I wanted to just capture it quickly whilst staying at my friends. I love this dress even if it is rather 'nun' like, it has pretty lace collar detail and cuffs and is a nice stretchy light weight knit material. I was lusting after this coat on ASOS a while ago and when it went into the sale I just couldn't resist it. My big red, rather festive looking tartan scarf was just perfect to cosy up under after heading out rather early on this particular frosty, chilly morning.

As things start to settle and everything starts to get back on track, hopefully normal blogging and all my other endeavours will resume :)

You must 'stache

I love my plastic moustache necklace but I can't help but do what i usually do with my necklaces when I wear them and place them on my upper lip, haha. I did it numerous amounts of times when out and about, chatting with friends, at the bar and on the train.
What a fool!
Oh well, I've been told that I quite suit a 'stache of the black curly plastic variety.

camp night, ahoy!

I've been pretty busy the past couple of days, a lot of rising early and hitting the sack late.
Even so i can tick of my little to do list in the previous post.
i have now posted my first look on lookbook and chictopia, it was taken whilst i was in paris and my friend only managed to upload the pictures the other night, but it brought back memories of colder days and an all more romantic feel. I love summer and everything but i much prefer A/W Fashion.
Layering, Mixing, matching and clashing different textures and patterns, big cosy knits, long scarfs, snoods, mittens and little furry booties.
ah!

What I am wearing
Dress - Forever 21
Bow Tights - New Look

Coat - H&M
Brogues - Zucchi Shoes

Had a really good catch up and few cocktails to boot with my friend Abi. Which was lovely, even if i did end up hitting the storm on my way home, which decided to strike at about 1am. Boo.
Spent the day uptown yesterday for Mummmma O'Callaghans birthday.
Had the most amazing Rocky Road dessert in Giraffe! but only managed a couple of spoons of the brownie chunks and ice cream. FULL to the brim i were.
Then me, the sis and mother embarked on possibly one of the campest nights i have had before, we saw Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Such a laugh and so much sparkle, colour and glitter you can't help but love it.
