yule

Happy Christmas Eve y'ule (cue bad christmas joke) I hope these photos make you smile and feel all warm and fuzzy as they make me feel, the photo equivalent of chicken soup for the soul. How's everyone spending their holidays? I've been out this morning, I had to pop into town - not to shop, thank god. I had to meet my friend to give her an illustration she commissioned and because she was so hectic at work ended up waiting a little longer so I had to get a starbucks white chocolate mocha with soy milk whilst waiting (who knew soy milk tasted so good?!) I plan on doing as little as possible, eating, drinking, watching, playing board games and wii with the family. Proper traditional type stuff that we always do, It's what Christmas is all about :)

polka dot cup, lattes & hot choc

Creme Brûlée lattes, Marshmellow hot chocolate, Cream and haribo hot chocolate.

Recently got some little bottles of festive flavoured syrups from costa (praline, gingerbread, creme brûlée, caramel and hazelnut) they are amazing. I've been heating milk up in the microwave, frothing it up and then adding a shot of percolated coffee to it with as much syrup as you fancy! Only tried creme brûlée and caramel so far. Far to addicted to hot chocolates, with cream, marshmallows and my new addition of mini hairdos... which taste surprisingly nice all melted and warm. This is my perfect sized cup for such a sweet treat as it's about half a normal mug.

P.S I also have a tumblr for my blog now, so if you fancy more from me do come and follow!

super furry animal

Literally my most favourite purchase of this Autumn (apart from the onesie...) is my faux fur stole from H&M, I know they're as common now as the ominous 'litas' or 'allegras' in the blogging world but I couldn't care less, it's so versatile and adaptable, I've been wearing with my black coat regularly, jumpers and dresses. It's so much warmer then a regular scarf and keeps me feeling super cosy and that kind of grandeur, elegant, glamorous older ladies of New York that you spot shopping in Manhattan with bags upon bags of designer goods. Have you purchased anything recently which has become a staple in your wardrobe?

Today:
- Finishing and starting 4 christmas present illustrations
- Making a commissioned blog header.
- Creating scenes to photograph my jewellery against
- Necklace designing and making.
- Burning my fingers :(
- Drinking too much coffee

Get Cape, Wear Cape.

Another of my A/W wardrobe must haves, like so many others is the elusive cape that has been plastered all over the September issues. Here are some of my personal picks...

1. Asos £70
2. Zara £80
3. Zara £99
4. Primark £25
5. Primark£15
7. UO £325

I'm really feeling khaki green, tan or a deep chocolate brown colour. The khaki green cape pictured 1st from ASOS is pretty near to perfect for me, I would style it with a pair of deep blue indigo skinnies  (khaki and blue ♥) a cream sweater, abundance of rings and a spyglass necklace just to really portray that certain Sherlock Holmes genasaqua (Yeah I had to google how to spell that...) I am still loving Primarks military inspired cape a steal at £25, I still haven't actually seen it in store yet but then I haven't been in Primark for a while. The Urban Outfitters cape is just ridiculously astonishingly overpriced but I had already copied and pasted before I saw the price. I'm sure there's a cheapy cheap version of it in tesco ;)

I have officially hit 100 followers today, thank you everyone that subscribes or follows and takes the time to read and comment. I love checking out all your blogs and finding some right gems to bookmark. I also love that I recognise the names that frequently comment, you are all too sweet!
