Blazer - Forever 21
Necklaces - JWLRY & Forever 21
Dress - Vero Moda via Zalando

I was sent a £40 voucher by the lovely people at the new online clothes website Zalando to spend on whatever I like. The first thing I noticed on the website which instantly interested me was the Free delivery and free returns. Perfect! I love when postage is free because even if the items pretty cheap I always add on the p&p as an additional cost and it can influence me whether to buy the item or not.

After umming and ahhing over a few dresses, I decided to go for this black Vero Moda dress. I am loving Vero Moda at the moment whenever I'm in House of Fraser I'm drawn to their section. This dress is super floaty and I thought it would be perfect for the rest of the summer weeks ahead and teamed with bare legs and heels to add a little bit more quirk. It's very breezy which is lovely when it's a tad hot! In Autumn I will put with opaque tights and chunky knits, mmm can't wait. I love the material and the sheer layers and because I love a shorter length look as well I tried it with a belt and untucked the dress and it looked just as sweet. I love doing the whole vampy thing but I thought a pretty much all black outfit for a particularly hot August day was vampy enough without the red lippy so I opted for maybeliene coral and freckle tone mac lippys. To continue that kind of gothic edge I thought I would team the big cross necklace and a rose quartz chain. I'm really drawn to this burnt amber type brown colour of the blazer I think it's just a little bit more un-conventional and it really goes well with the cream dress that I bought from Forever 21 as well. I'm a fan of doing the whole boy meets girl style, vampy meets girly, smart meets scruffy I'm all about the contradictions.

Socks - H&M in Paris
Platform Heels - Topshop

I really want to start wearing heels, pretty and interesting shoes a lot more. Although  I'm not really a shoe girl. I do go through phases. During the day I pretty much either wear black brogues or black shoe boots. I love these Topshop suede cut out peep toe platforms, They were originally priced at £70 and I saw them a couple weeks ago when the sale was on and they were down to £20, and with my cheeky discount which I still have I got them for £18. I'm about 5'10 in them, ah to be tall. I spotted this shoes on the Zalando website for a brand called Zign and I love the chunky, awkward kind of pretty ugly look to them, if that makes any sense at all. See contradiction yet again!

You can see my accessories and make-up a bit better in this Photo booth picture and I actually really like how my hair looks in these pictures. My face is actually looking quite sun kissed as is the rest of my red bits, not nice. I do have some new freckles that have come out though which I love.

I've also got my eye on this other pretty Vero Moda dress. Which reminds me of one of my favourite outfits that Vicky from Ahashake has worn in an outfit post before and I coveted the UO number. The dress can be seen in Vicky's most recent post. I would style it very preppy with this chanel esque bow cardigan I ordered from Ebay yesterday with little ankle socks and brogues or sparkly black boots.
