Flowers, Eclairs and The Ballet

Sometimes a day to yourself in your favourite city or place can do you the world of good. Before meeting my Sister after she finished work for a shake shack session in Covent Garden and being refined (ahem) and enjoying a night of Ballet. I made sure I checked out the wonderful new Skinny Dip shop in Carnarby Street and of coarse on my way there I could not stop myself from taking more photographs of the beautiful  flowers at Liberty's beforehand.

I floated around Knightsbridge and Kensington -  letting my eyes dance over the delightfully delicious and stunning eclairs from Maitre Choux whilst my mouth most definitely watered and I gave into my sweet tooth and devoured a raspberry eclair whilst sitting by the Natural History museum enjoying the afternoon sunshine. I enjoyed some much needed solitude and quiet away from the heat and busy streets so I took myself off to the Wallace Collection with some of the most exquisitely decorated rooms and artwork to match.

Since I saw the ballet version of Edward Scissorhands last year, I have been hooked with the art form even more. In the evening we went to the London Collesium (near Trafalgar Sq) to see Cinderella by the Dutch National Ballet, which as you can imagine was utterly dreamy and visually stunning. I've already booked my tickets to see Sleeping Beauty and I'm hoping to see Swan Lake and The Nutcracker this Winter season.Image and video hosting by TinyPic
