Directors Cut // Wes Anderson

One of my favourite directors has got to be Wes Anderson. With such credits as Rushmore, Fanastic Mr Fox and Darjeeling Limited as well as his newest much praised film Moonrise Kingdom which opened the 2012 Cannes film festival.

I recently watched Darjeeling Limited and it has made me want to visit India even more, travel on one of those trains and take in the abundance of culture but other then that it is beautifully touching and with the right amount of oddness thrown into the mix.

Andersons films are usually easily recognisable with his favouring the use off primary colours, the dry sense of humour followed by stares into space and full of vacant looks.
